Our theme for the first half of Summer term is Mr Men – based around the popular series of books. We will be using these to explore shape and colour and also to raise awareness and understanding of a range of emotions.
The second half of term our theme will be All Creatures Great and Small. We will be learning about all sorts of creatures, ranging from mini beasts to wild animals.
Our topics cover all areas of the EYFS curriculum with particular emphasis this term on learning about shape, space and measure; managing feelings and behaviour; learning about the natural world and exploring and using media and materials.

We would like to say a huge thank you to all those who helped make this year’s carnival a success.
A considerable amount of time and effort went into the day and the preparation leading up to it, so well done to all the children, staff, parents and family members who have worked incredibly hard over the last 3 months.
The children thoroughly enjoyed themselves on the float and we managed to raise an amazing £336 on the stall. We will keep you updated on how this fundraising money is spent.
Windmill Pre-School is a registered charity and your kind donations are vital to ensuring we continue to deliver exceptional quality education to children.
